Is your body suffering from sitting at a desk?
Situated close by to many offices around Parkside and Adelaide's South East corner, we offer lunch-time Power Pilates classes for 40 minutes. These classes focus specifically on stretching the tight muscles and mobilizing stiff joints that are associated withy long periods of sitting, as well as strengthening the core abdominal muscles which improves posture.
We currently run Power Pilates Mat classes on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and will later in 2007 include Circuit classes using the Pilates equipment on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Do you feel like your body is “falling apart”?!
Have you noticed that you don't 'bounce back' like you used to?Do you feel stiff and immobile in the morning?
Do you feel like it's one injury after another, with no sense of full resolution to the problem?
If this sounds familiar, Physiotherapy Pilates Proactive has a philosophy of self management which leads to long term solutions where you learn to control your problem rather than it control you.
We specialise in Pilates which is a fabulous and fun way of learning to move your body freely again. There are many ways to try Pilates so we recommend you visit one of our friendly physiotherapists, who are all Polestar Pilates International certified, to discuss your needs. They can tailor make your options to include hands-on treatment, home exercises and advice.
We also have a wonderful massage therapist who offers many after hours appointments which are claimable with many private Health Funds.
